vitamin & Mineral Test

Test OVERVIEW

Vitamins and minerals are essential in the bodies rebuilding process and are required in order for the body to make new cells.  Testing for vitamin and mineral deficiencies or toxicity should be a part of every athletes regiment, because without the essential building blocks your body is unable to manufacture new red bloods cells to help support muscle repairs or boost your bodies immune system.

WHY

​Why would you do this test?  Coaches and trainers have been preaching good nutrition to the athletes they work with for years with little success.  We have taken a slightly different approach by testing athletes body's for vitamin & mineral deficiencies and then informing each athlete what their body will be unable to do at a high level because of the lack of vitamins and minerals.

 

RECOMMENDED

Who is this test recommended for?  Vitamin and mineral testing is recommended for every athlete regardless of their age or sport they play.

HOW OFTEN

How often should you repeat this test?  Vitamin & mineral tests are recommended every 1-2 months depending on the previous results.

 

BODY PARTS

​Which body parts are or can be tested?  Vitamin & mineral tests take a snapshot of the vitamin and mineral makeup in the body.

 

RESULTS

What are the results of this test?  About 50% of the athletes tested will have low or deficient levels of vitamins and minerals.

 

SUMMARY

 What does this help to improve? By educating athletes of what each of the essential vitamins and minerals do for the body using their own test results, we are able to point out the sports performance issues their bodies will have difficulty overcoming.  Once the begin to realize the athletic performance issues are resulting from not having proper nutrition they may begin to take it more serious.
